Update!

I had a sleepover last night! I had so much fun! Now I am back with my foster mom and dad. I met with Tony, check him out. He is up for adoption too! So,today I passed the cat test. That was an easy test. I am cat friendly, also I am (grand)kid friendly as you can see in the picture. Also this is me with Haley and Lily (She is from IBR) we run around till we wear each other out! I am a typical pointer, very high energy, but very lovable. I just have one little problem, maybe you can help me. I need a house to call my own, I love my foster mom and dad, but I would like a house to call my own. Pointer Hugs, Buck.

I'm a rescue dog!!!

Today an IBR volunteer came to get me from the shelter where I was staying. I was very good in the car on the ride to her house. I just laid in the crate and looked out the window. I came to her house for a few hours before my foster mom and dad could meet me. I did very well in the house, I liked the other dogs here, but I really liked the 12 yr old girl. I followed her everywhere!!! She let me take a quick nap on her bed, but I didn't sleep long, so much to sniff out and do! I liked going outside, I took treats very gently. And I just love attention. I'd love to have a home to call my own. My foster mom and dad will have more updates as we spend the next few days together. Check back soon!!! Buck.

Hello!

Well hello, I'm Buck. I am a liver and white English Pointer, aprox. 1 1/2 yrs old. I heard some exciting news. On my kennel is a sign that says IL Bird Dog Rescue! I'm going to a foster home and getting out of the shelter! I can't wait. A volunteer is coming to get me tomorrow, I'm so excited! I was a family pet, but the long story short is now I'm in a shelter because nobody came to get me. Everyone here thinks I'm housetrained, I'm very friendly with people. I can be cat tested if you have a cat. Once I'm in foster care my foster mom and dad will learn more about me. I heard the foster home I'm going to has two female dogs, one English Pointer named Lily who was adopted from IL Birddog Rescue and Haily a GSP. Check back soon for updates and when you do that check out the website, we all need great homes! See you soon, Buck.
