I just heard, Weather depending I'm going take a test next Saturday. I'm not nervous. I'm going out with the rescue to see how I do on birds. Doesn't that sound like fun??? I'll update you and let you know if I'd be a good hunting companion. But remember Good Ol' Boys (see foster moms description below) NEED NOT APPLY, my foster mom and dad (a hunter himself) are going to be strict about that!!! But lovable, happy, fun homes please apply. I forgot to tell you last time, I met some new people and I liked every one of them. They all pet me and hugged me and I loved it. I sat when I was told to do so and I gave them my paw too! I met some kids as well, I did great! The youngest was 8 yrs old. He gave me some treats, I was so gentle a few fell on the floor. I would do well in a home with other dogs that are older then me, I'm about 1-2 yrs old. Sometimes when the other dogs are playing I like to sit an chew on a toy, but I'll jump in and play too. I'm going to bed now, I'm going to dream about getting a furever home--Pointer kisses, Buckaroooooooooo

Hi again, this is me with Fala, she lives here, she is a lot of fun. We were running around the house today. I have a quick update. I just had so much fun in the backyard. There was a pheasant dummy out there! I know "release", "come" and "give it". I was very interested in the bird at the vet's office the other day. If you would like to adopt me or meet me that would be great! But remember first and for most I have to be a house dog and a pet. I cannot live outdoors. I did sit for my foster mom when we were playing with the pheasant dummy. So you must use gentle training methods, not methods the "good ol' boys" use. I would do very well in a home with a non-hunter as well. My tail is always wagging, I'm just such a happy boy! I love to cuddle with my foster mom and dad. I listen to the two non-fur kids here too. They are 13 yrs and 9 yrs old. I take treats very gentle from them, I can catch them in my mouth if you toss them to me. Want me to show you??? I can!!! Check back soon, Buckarooooooooooooooooo

Hi! I'm back with an update. I'm at a new foster home, due to no fault of my own. I'm am staying with the volunteer that picked me up out of the shelter. She keeps saying how much fun I am and I'm such a good boy! I'm having a lot of fun here. There are four other dogs to play with, Peaches and Fala both came from IBR. As much as I love other dogs, I love being around people too. I'm very good with kids as you can see from my previous pictures. I know what kennel means when its time to go in my crate. I don't try to get on the furniture here, OK well the bed once in awhile, but I get down when I am told to. I went to the vet yesterday and I really liked the cats there. They hissed at me, I didn't know what that meant, I kept trying to play with them. Did I mention I love kids?!!!! I am a typical pointer, FULL OF ENERGY!!! And I love to carry things in my mouth. But my foster mom doens't let me do that much. So I find a toy to play with, I love to chew on hard nyla bones. Thats the update for now, don't forget to check back and check out all the other dogs on the website. I heard some of my fur friends found there furever homes, I want to find one too!!!
